While many of us would rather outsource image retouching, it’s an exchange of creative control for greater time efficiency. PortraitPro 18 is an alternative, which is what initially drew me to Anthropic’s PortraitPro Studio Max several years ago when I reviewed version 15. Portrait Professional is a highly acclaimed photo retouching application which can be categorized as a graphics program which applies digital makeup to the photos you edit with it.
Using the program is pretty easy, considering the amount of features and the comprehensive nature of this Windows application. Simply select the picture that you wish to retouch, select the position and features you would like to apply (such as correcting irregularities) and possible real-life makeup issues. Modifications can also be applied to the target's eyes.
Once you apply the modifications to the image, you are able to modify the output in multiple different ways. You can change the shape of the head, change the appearance of skin, eyes and mouth and more.
In additional to changing regions of the photograph, Portrait Professional also allows you to change the appearance of the entire image such as lighting, contrasts and other aspects.
All-in-all, this program is perfect for those wishing to apply digital makeup to create the perfect portraits.
