Even though it has taken six games from the end of the campaign for them to be put out of their misery, the writing had arguably been on the wall before a ball was even kicked this season.

The Daily Mail had reported that former manager, Jose Riga staggeringly had just eight registered players two and a half weeks before their first game. And even though they managed to put a squad together for the trip to Nottingham Forest, the Seasiders went ten games without a win, including seven defeats.
