Kn0ck0ut is a free VST effect that that can isolate vocals from music. This plugin work by retrieve centre-panned material from stereo input, by substracting two mono inputs. This VST plug-in was made to help extract or isolate vocals from music. So, if you want to remix a song, you may try this one. I know there is a way to remove vocals with Audacity. However, is there a way to remove the guitar track from a song? I'm wanting to create a backing track that cannot be found anywhere. I have the capacity to import the file from the CD to another software that converts it to an mp3.

I want to record the sound effects with audacity (and stereo mix ofcourse)
but thers stupid music in the games that I can't turn off.
I've tried messing around with the sound channels to turn the music off,but most of the time you can still hear some of the music and if you turn that 1 off you can't hear the sounds.
So how do I rip/record sound effects from games with emulators?
